Starting as just one montly art activity at Lincoln Glen nursing home, The Sunshine Squad quickly developed into an organization that allows youth across California to get involved with their local communities. By hosting art activities at nursing homes, The Sunshine Squad has cultivated joy in both volunteers and nursing home residents alike.

The Sunshine Squad's mission is to brighten the lives of nursing home residents by fostering creativity, connection, and joy through engaging art projects. We believe that art can be a powerful tool for building bridges between generations and creating meaningful connections, and uphold our mission through hosting themed art activities at nursing homes across California.
